Marinated Macaroni Salad
1 pound of curly pasta noodles
4 cups total of any of the following chopped/diced vegetables: cauliflower, white onions, green onions, red onions, celery, carrots, radishes, tomatoes, cucumbers
Dressing:
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic salt or accent or salt
1 Tablespoon parsley flakes
1/2 Tablespoon dried minced onion
Cook and stir dressing mixture in a saucepan until sugar is dissolved. Cool to room temperature before adding to the noodles and vegetables. Pour dressing mixture over drained noodles and marinate over night. Next day add 4 cups vegetables (you can add more if you desire) to the noodle and dressing mixture. Refrigerate.
