Frosted Chocolate Brownies
Melt together:
1/2 pound margarine
1/2 cup cocoa
Add:
1 3/4 cups sugar
1 cup flour
1 1/2 cups nuts (optional)
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 eggs
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes in a 15X10 inch pan. Frost with Chocolate Buttercream Frosting.
Chocolate Buttercream Frosting:
1/2 cup butter
2 cups confectioner's sugar
3 Tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 Tablespoons milk
Mix together all ingredients. May need to add more milk (slowly) until frosting reaches a spreadable consistency. Spread on Chocolate Brownies.
