Creme deMenthe Brownies
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 eggs
1 (16 ounce) can Hershey's chocolate syrup
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla together. Beat eggs and Hershey's chocolate syrup into butter mixture. Stir in flour and salt. Bake in 9X13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Let cool before frosting.
Frosting:
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup softened butter
4 Tablespoons Creme deMenthe liquor
Combine powdered sugar, softened butter, and Creme deMenthe liquor; mix well. Chill till spreading consistency and then frost brownies.
Topping:
6 Tablespoons butter
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Heat butter and chocolate chips until melted. Spread over frosted brownies. Cool until topping is set (hard). Leave out at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.
